Warranty

Warranty Guide

MD Mattresses conforms to the Federal Flammability Standard known as 16 CFR Part 1633. Every MD FR Mattress is certified to be sold alone (mattress only) or in a set with a certified FR box spring or foundation.

CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU!!

You have just purchased a quality sleep product from MD Mattress. To prolong the life of your bed and be more satisfied with its overall performance, please remember the following points:

• Body impressions are normal in quality bedding. Impressions indicate that the upholstery layers are conforming to your body’s individual contours. These are not structural defects, but normal occurrences in the superior performance of the mattress. Impressions are going to be more noticeable on King and Queen sizes.

• To equalize impressions, rotate your mattress end to end regularly every two weeks for the first three months of use and every two months thereafter. This mattress will not need to be turned over.

If you own a double-sided mattress, rotate, and flip your mattress once every three months. If your mattress shows signs of body impressions before scheduled rotations, change the schedule so you will always be sleeping on a comfortable surface.

• Use of a matching FR-Certified box spring unit/foundation and a proper frame with center support is required. This warranty will be null and void if the mattress was not used on a box spring or foundation with proper support. Reference Image below:

• We recommend a premium quality mattress protector cover be placed on your mattress to act as a barrier against stains to the mattress. Stains, burns, or abuse of the mattress will void the warranty.

• Do not use dry cleaning fluid on your mattress as it will cause damage.

• Do not get your mattress wet. Some of the upholstery materials may compress if wet. Do not iron your mattress. This may cause the cover to deteriorate.

Length of Warranty

This Warranty begins on the day that you take possession of your sleep set. Remember to keep your receipt as proof of purchase and DO NOT REMOVE THE LAW TAG from your sleep set. Your receipt and Law Tag will serve as

a means of establishing your warranty rights. If you have a problem with your sleep set, the limited warranty would not be renewed or extended after repair or replacement of the original set. If you have a problem with the set you purchased, contact the dealer where you purchased the set; they will be able to answer questions regarding your warranty,

Factors That Can Void Your Mattress Warranty

There are several ways to void a mattress warranty, so it’s important to avoid these things if you want to preserve your warranty’s coverage. Here are some of the most common factors that can void your warranty:

• Staining or otherwise damaging the mattress with fluids. Because liquids can damage mattress foams, staining your mattress with any type of fluid is liable to void its warranty. The easy way to avoid this is to invest in a waterproof mattress protector and cover your mattress immediately after purchase.

• Removing the mattress tag.

• Failing to provide the proper support for your mattress. The proper support for your mattress will depend on its construction. For example, some mattresses can be supported by platform beds, others will do fine on adjustable bases, and so on.

• Not being the original owner of the mattress. Once a mattress has been passed from the original buyer to someone else (whether as a gift or sale), then the warranty will likely become void.

What is NOT covered?

• Normal wear & tear

• Mattresses/Foundations with stains, burns, soils, or that have been abused.

• Handles (which should only be used to position the mattress and may tear off if used to support the full weight of the mattress)

• Personal comfort. We cannot guarantee everyone’s comfort.

• Border wires (which run along the perimeter of the mattress and box spring/foundation) bent due to moving or bending the sleep set.

• Structural damage to the mattress or foundation due to the use of an improper bed frame.

• Impressions of less than 1 1/2”

• Mattresses and foundations that have already been replaced. This warranty is limited to ONE repair or replacement. Warranty is good on original purchase only.

• Mattress damage due to the use of a non-matching box spring/foundation.

• Replacement of a matching piece in a sleep set, unless both pieces are defective.

• Transportation/freight costs. It is the primary responsibility of the consumer to pay ALL transportation, freight, and/or shipping costs when returning defective productor picking up a replacement product.

• If the dealer is out of business or is no longer an authorized MD Mattress dealer, the consumer will be responsible for picking up replacement product from the nearest designated pickup facility.

• Damage caused by tampering with any component or part of the mattress.

• Damage caused by laundering or dry cleaning.

• Damage caused by act of nature.
